Rockport Adventure Camp 877 TX BIRDS

Founded in 2012 Rockport Adventure Camp has become an Aransas tradition for many families.

The idea was to give young campers an outdoor experience that would teach them how to safely enjoy our natural surroundings while gaining knowledge of the abundant life our bay system has to offer.

Utilizing the shallow water tour boat Skimmer as sort of a school bus to transport our campers to San Jose, Traylor, Talley, Deadman, Mustang, Harbor and Mud Islands to experience the unique habitat that each of these unique locations around Aransas Bay have to offer.

Beach combing, sein netting, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and exploring give our campers an awareness and understanding of our unique eco-system, its hazards, beauty, and the bounty it has to offer.

Our staff is made up of educators and outdoor enthusiasts who have appreciation of the environment and an interest in passing along the knowledge and experiences that captured their hearts and drive them today.

We are licensed by the State of Texas and US Coast Guard as well as first aid and lifeguard certified.
